“Selkies Earn Top Spots en Route to Nationals”

Andover, MA – The New England Regional Championship competition was held last weekend. The North Shore YMCA Selkies qualified all 13 members of the Age Group Team to compete at the USA Synchro Age Group National Championships held June 22-29 at Miami University of Ohio.  As part of the National qualifying process, Selkies competed at the Association level earlier this month. 16 routine events from the Association Championships were eligible to compete at the Regional Championship. The top 3 event champions from Regionals will now represent the Selkies on the National level.

Synchronized Swim Camp

Ages: Entering grades 1-9, (co-ed)
Session Length: Four days Session Dates: 8/20-8/23Time: 10:30am-12:30pm

Explore a beautiful Olympic sport that combines aquatic athletics with the artistry of dance and gymnastics.
The clinic will provide development instruction in basic synchro skills including eggbeater, verticals, sculling and ballet legs. Swimmers will enjoy making new friends as they work together to perform a high energy routine. Novice, Intermediate, and Beginners are welcome!
